I put ice water just to see how long it would take to boil out of curiosity (my first time using it) it took 7 minutes for a rumbling boil on the second setting with the lid on the sides get warm but not as hot as any pot 100% recommend especially if you live in a dorm it’s quick and easy

I could only get pink when I ordered this, but that's fine. As a family we really like ramen and noodles, so this seemed perfect for that. It is--but only for one person, so one ramen serving with added goodies. My daughter realized this was the perfect dorm room appliance, so I suspect that when she goes to college in a couple years, this will disappear. I can see how this would be ideal for small spaces when a plug in pot would be not only easier but essential to heating food where there is no microwave or stove. It could heat up a range of things, most importantly the mac and cheese she loves.

Surprisingly get pretty hot, only used it for noodles but I’m sure it will be great with other food items :)

We use this pot almost every day. Not even for ramen... For everything! Extremely versatile and easy to use and easy to clean.

We bought this to put in the camper and i kind of want one for the house. It heats up quicker than our stove top at home. We love it. Works perfect for camping if you want to add a side to your BBQ.
